SCRIP (a term that means “substitute money”) is a stewardship program that enables participants to give money to Immanuel without having to alter their budgets or sell door to door. The SCRIP coordinator purchases gift cards at a discounted rate (anywhere from two to fifteen percent) and re-sells them for face value, with the difference going to Immanuel. Anyone can purchase cards for grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, and retail stores and support Immanuel through these everyday purchases. Immanuel members are invited to purchase these cards between services on Sunday mornings.
Members interested in selling SCRIP should have a desire to raise money for Immanuel and be available from approximately 8:45-10:45 Sundays. Contact Trish Sauers or stop by the SCRIP table on Sunday.
